[DYSU] Challenge #72 - Landscapes

Good morning, everyone! What a whirlwind week. Are you guys ready for the weekend? We have a company picnic on Sunday at a park with great outdoorsy fun. If I remember right, we had that event there about three or four years ago, and there were paddle boats. But I am secretly looking forward to watermelon ;)

This week's theme at DYSU is Landscape. Yep - the DT had a toughie with this one, but there is plenty of inspiration spread across the team. We even worked on it as a team and gave each ideas how to go about it...

The landscape scene is just an everyday fun garden scene, with some grass, clouds and sun! The grass is actually made out of recycled ribbon from L'occitane...



The grass is different lengths cut at an angle and alternated in a fun way to give it depth. I like the two tone that the ribbon had, so I had a lot of variety in color to make it work. 



The faux stitching around the card is inspired by the ribbon and the rest of the flower just has some fun vibrant colors. Here an unclose look of the image...
