Isn't that just gorgeous? I chose to use all of these colors as a basis for my card.
Stamps: (Today, Tomorrow & Always Time) Uniko Studio
Paper: (Paper Basics Card Stock - Smokey Shadow, Rustic Cream) Papertrey Ink
Ink: (Creative Color Pigment Ink - Hazel) Mama Elephant; (Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Vintage Photo) Ranger
Embellishments: (Inka Gold - Champagne) Viva Decor; (Candi - Covent Garden) Craftworkcards; (Designer Die - Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum) Uniko Studio; (Sequins - Lime Satin) Neat & Tangled; (Washi - Script) Love My Tapes
Good news! I am getting to almost all my packed boxes and found my Big Kick. Which means I can finally run those gorgeous Uniko Studio Designer Dies through the machine. Cuts like butter - I so missed it!
I started out with gray for the card base and knew I wanted a bright light card. I also experimented with a new medium called "Inka-Gold" by Viva Decor. It's description says "fast drying metal gloss paint." Fast - yes! Metallic - yup! And it's super shiny, which the photo doesn't do it justice. In fact the sheen was so glossy, that I decided to dirty up the leaves with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
A bit of sequins and Candis to round out the mix and there it is. I regret not splattering the Rustic Cream card stock with some browns of some sort. It looks almost too CSA ;)
Anyways, that's all I have for you. Check out the rest of the girl's cards and leave them a sweet comment or two. Remember you don't have to use all the colors - any or all as an inspiration.
