Soldiers always have these beautiful uniforms on, and I decided to give AJ one of those royal blue ones. I remember somewhere in the recesses that yellow and blue are suppose to be complementary colors, so AJ received some yellow-gold trims.
The background is created using an impression plate. Since I wanted the texture to stand out more, I swiped my Vintage Cream ink pad over it. I actually am not a fan on how it turned out. It's too prominent, but the gray and yellow was too stark of a contrast for me, too. It's one of those lost causes... can't be happy one way or another ;)
