It's crazy how Labor Day is coming up and that means the close of summer and it's time to think about Fall, Halloween, bump up the oven, and definitely think about Christmas gifts & what's crafty...I don't even know if I can get myself to think about that yet, without having Halloween & Thanksgiving solidly under my belt!
This week we're dealing with another season: Back to School. Yep - it's true. All over my twitter feed, the blogs and in my neighborhood, it's time for kids to return to school. Time to hunker down and hit the books. So, kiddies, study hard, so that you can have a fabulous job, so that you can buy lots of lovely crafty supplies (or enable what hobby you may have ;)

This school girl is very adorable, ain't she? I decided to pull out some Fancy Pants to compliment this image. And since I was determined to use the "School Rocks" I lifted the color combo from there. Perfect - because if you know me, I have a thing for aqua and red ;) A fun element is using the "Student" definition to give the base of the card some fun "trim" along the base. Everything else is adhere on dimensionals, including the "School Rocks" label and the kraft graph paper panel with the girl. A little bit of messy stitching was necessary for anchoring the little arrow that was too cute not to use up. Anyways, here another close look on the cute little girl!
